human history is a narrative of God’s love.
all that God created is good and manifests from love. humanity has been created in his image to fellowship and delight
in him, others, and all of his creation. through free-will, sin entered as a destructive force to destroy our relationships
with God, other people, and his creation. enter: God’s plan for restoration
the Bible is a written account of how God began his plan for the restoration of his creation. it is a written account of how God
covenanted with ordinary people who made mistakes and had inadequacies, but were faithful to him. it is a written account of
how God used a man, Abraham, and his descendants to be his chosen people through which the savior of humanity…God in
flesh…Jesus…would be born to begin the process of restoring all things on earth as they are in heaven.
through Jesus’s teachings and his perfect example we learn how to love more. through his death, burial, and resurrection we
have hope, have been forgiven, and are restored before God. we strive to embody the Kingdom of Heaven by living out Jesus’s
teachings, living life to the fullest as a church through the Holy Spirit, worshiping God with our lives, and loving, serving, and
standing beside the hurt and oppressed in columbus and the surrounding areas. it is only through Jesus that humanity can
be reconciled to God…and that is available to everyone.
